Cheap drinks and big vibes: where to watch the AFL Grand Final in Sydney

Can’t make it to Melbourne? The AFL has tipped ‘Swans friendly venues’ to watch the game with fellow Bloods, including one giant party at the SCG.

Starting with the biggest of the bunch, the SCG will be opening up for a giant watch party for fans. See the game on the mega big screen from the Ladies Stand or roll out a rug on the field. Gates open from 1:30pm. Food and drinks will be available to purchase but no home-made picnics, and no chairs.

Henson Park in Marrickville will also be throwing a Footy Festival, with activities for the fam like AFL PLAY Zone, AFLW Player appearances, DJ Set by AFLW Giants player Georgia Garnett and food and beverage trucks.

1. Penny’s Hotel, Potts Point
