You can now get bottomless steak frites at this Surry Hills favourite

In today’s economy, chasing various “bottomless” deals around town has become a game of absolute necessity for locals who want to eat well on a budget.

Look around to some of the city’s best pubs and bars and you’ll spy a great range of “bottomless” deals, where you’re more limited by appetite than anything else. Although we’ve never seen something like this before: Surry Hills favourite The Winery has started offering a very generous bottomless steak frites deal every Wednesday.

Yes, bottomless steak frites. The classic French dish has been refined over at The Winery and the more voracious appetites amongst us should be excited.

Not only do you get unlimited fries for $65 per person, you can also grab as much steak as you want. The caveat is that you’ve only got 90 minutes to finish it all. If nothing else, it’s a decadent food-eating competition to play with some friends on an indulgent Wednesday evening.

The bottomless steak frites deal is only available on Wednesday from 5pm. There’s nothing fancy about the approach here, it’s a simple, juicy steak paired with golden, crispy frites. Finish it, finish another and so forth. Allegedly, the record is around seven steaks per person so far.
