Opera Bar is throwing a 10-day rosé wine festival by the harbour

Sydney’s famously picturesque Opera Bar is bringing back its popular 10-day wine festival with Rosé All Day.

All things rosé (including its icey cousin, frosé) will take over the popular harbourside bar, which sits in the shadows of the Sydney Opera House and has long been an emblem of Sydney’s peerless beauty.

Each year, Opera House goes all out to theme the entire venue with a celebration of rosé wines, set over ten days from September 6-15.

Even the Sydney Rock Oysters served will be appropriately prepared with a light rosé mignonette, served along with other snacks on a special menu, including tuna tartare on prawn crackers with finger lime and a delectable strawberries and cream pavlova.

Thankfully, you’ll still have access to Opera Bar’s usual menu throughout the festival.

Top-shelf bottles of rosé will be available along with a list of new creations like the frozen rosé and honey margarita, a build of Campari, sweet vermouth, sparkling rosé, and coconut water, and a twist on the classic Aperol spritz. Bottles of Moet & Chandon Rose Champagne will also be available for $99 each.

Pre-bookings are recommended since this is always such a popular event for tourists, but there will be an allocation for walk-ins each day.
