Ricky Martin fans in Sydney will be Livin’ la Vida Loca this November as the music icon heads to Australia for a four-date tour with pop queen Rita Ora on support duties.

The Ricky Martin Live 2025 tour plays into the trend of nostalgia shows from big-name legacy artists heading down to the Harbour City this year. We’re already getting the likes of Cyndi Lauper and Chaka Kahn, and while Ricky Martin (aka the male Shakira) hasn’t nearly been around for that long, his impact on the music industry easily places him in the same “legends” category.

With an impressive 95 million records sold worldwide, Martin still stands as one of the most distinctive figures in the music industry with his staggering, larger-than-life blend of Latin music with Western pop. It’s this legacy that’s still selling out stadiums and areas around the world.

The tour marks Ricky Martin’s first time in Australia since his sold-out shows in 2015. And so we aren’t expecting tickets to his November 10 show at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena to last very long once they go on sale later this week.

Conceived as a 90-minute show, Ricky Martin Live 2025 promises all the singer’s greatest hits, including Livin’ la Vida Loca, She Bangs, Maria, and The Cup of Life. And the largeness of these iconic songs should be matched be the production, with promoters TEG Dainty describing the production as having “state-of-the-art lighting, immersive visuals, a live band and dancers”.

This is of course in addition to a performance by Rita Ora, who adds a considerable amount of star power to the tour, having sold-out her recent Australian tour in 2019.
