Epic four-night festival, Parramatta Lanes, returns in October

The massive night-time only food, music and art festival, Parramatta Lanes, is back and big in 2024.

Over 16 festival sites, this free event will transform laneways, rooftop car parks, arcades, and gardens into vibrant hubs brimming with food, music, and art.

Treat your taste buds with over 70 street food stalls offering everything from homemade dumplings to fresh tacos and gooey desserts. Whether you’re craving tempura prawns or looking to savour delicious crepes, there’s something for everyone. And for those who enjoy a drink, pop-up bars will be serving craft beers and creative cocktails to keep the good vibes flowing.

The music lineup is stacked across eight stages, showcasing Sydney’s freshest talent. From indie to jazz , psychedelic to Bollywood, the festival’s diverse soundtrack is impressive. Whether you’re a fan of pop punk, alt-rock, or want to experience Italian hip hop, Parramatta Lanes will deliver.

With over 100 performers, artists include BALTHVS (Columbia), Death of Heather (Thailand), DoloRRes (Melbourne), Grace Cummings (Melbourne), Kilat, Armlock (Melbourne), Yasmina Sadiki, B Wise, iNBRAZA Baile (Melbourne), Carolina Gasolina, RMFC, Gee Tee and Western Sydney’s very own Bodega Collective with their infamous Pass the Mic night.

This year the festival will be lit up by stunning, giant art and lighting installations. Wander through quirky and awe-inspiring displays that make the perfect backdrop for your festival photos, offering a blend of creativity and visual magic. This year will introduce several new sites across the CBD including Prince Alfred Square, Powerhouse Lane on George Street, a main stage in the Leigh Memorial Church car park and a stage annexe with sounds from around the world next to Parramatta Town Hall.

The best part? Entry is completely free, leaving you with more cash to splurge on tasty food and drinks. Soak up the festival’s electric atmosphere, grab a cocktail, or dance the night away — all while surrounded by good vibes.
