Oran Park Hotel has officially opened in Sydney’s south west. The “entertainment oasis” is one of Australia’s largest hospitality developments, costing $50 million to build and spanning over 7,500 square metres.
The complex will serve and entertain the locals of Oran Park, a suburb in South West Sydney. The neighbourhood is rapidly growing in size, with roughly 100 residents moving into the council area every week. Oran Park Hotel will give them, and other Sydneysiders, a one-stop-shop to bars, restaurants and event spaces.
Plenty of Sydney hospo hotshots have inputted their flair into the new precinct. It is operated by Momento Hospitality, who are behind some of Sydney’s favourite venues, including the Nags Head Hotel in Glebe. The Bistro, which serves up Australian cuisine, is led by Executive Chef Amilio Abouna, formerly of Watsons Bay Hotel. Rumour has it his OP burger and herb-stuffed porchetta are very good.
The precinct is also the perfect venue for hosting events, including weddings, conferences and private parties. It has two private 40-seat cinemas (you can choose what’s screened), two ballrooms and multiple function spaces. There’s also a bottleshop, an open-air atrium and seven different bars.

Papi’s Pizzeria
Papi’s Pizza is the perfect place for grabbing a bite to eat with friends and family. If you’re feeling indulgent, try their deep dish nutella and biscoff dessert pizza. They also have exciting toppings (and potentially controversial) such as chilli prawn and artichoke.
The Bistro
The Bistro serves a variety of dishes, from ricotta and honeycomb flatbread to crispy fish tacos. For fussy eaters, there is also a kid’s menu where each dish costs $15, including chicken tenders, chips and margarita pizza. They also have a designated “Family Sharing” part of their menu, featuring “Thor’s Hammer” for $165, which involves 12-hour braised beef shin.
The Sports Bar
The Sports Bar will show plenty of live sport while offering a variety of beers on tap, cocktails and pub-style food. If you need a place to cheer on your favourite teams on a big screen, the Sports Bar has you covered.
