Lady Gaga adds second Sydney show as fans struggle with expensive tickets

Although the General Sale for Lady Gaga tickets is still over a week away, Live Nation has announced a second Sydney concert as the “final date added to this local run of shows”.

The 14-time Grammy Award-winning pop icon will now also play Sydney’s Accor Stadium on Saturday, December 13, adding to her already-announced show on Friday, December 12. This means both Melbourne and Sydney will get two shows each from Mother Monster, while Brisbane fans have to contend with having just one date for the east coast tour, the first Gaga tour in 11 years since 2014’s ArtRave: The ARTPOP Ball.

The “Born This Way” singer, fresh off a well-reviewed comeback set at Coachella, will be showcasing her eponymous new album on The MAYHEM Ball tour. Reports from the famous Californian music festival are pointing towards dramatic visuals and a blockbuster production, including describing the set’s opening as a “satanic ritual” inspired by her 2011 song “Bloody Mary”.

Rolling Stone has described Lady Gaga’s new tour as “transformative” and “a spectacle”, signalling that Sydney fans should be gearing up for the concert of the year, following blockbuster shows over the past few months from the likes of Dua Lipa, Drake and The Weeknd.

According to the reports, Lady Gaga’s set list covers 20 of her songs, including live debuts of old fan favourites and selections taken from her latest album. The concert is divided into four acts and a finale, similar to the way Dua Lipa has structured her current tour. Lady Gaga’s second Sydney show ticket details

Mastercard cardholders will have special access to presale tickets for Lady Gaga’s second Sydney show when they go on sale on Tuesday, April 22 at 12pm from Priceless.

Vodafone mobile customers also have a chance to secure tickets before the general sale, with the company’s presale also kicking off on Tuesday, April 22 at 12pm.

There’s a third chance too. Live Nation is hosted a presale from Wednesday, April 23 at 12pm to Thursday, April 24 at 12pm.

Finally, the General Sale for Lady Gaga Sydney tickets is set for Thursday, April 24 at 1pm.
