Tickets to the biggest Kylie tour since 2011 on sale next week

Dust off your gold hot-pants, Sydney. Our Kylie’s “Tension Tour” is coming to town. Starting with a homecoming in Perth on February 15, the Tension Tour will zip around the world, sprinkling Kylie tour magic across Asia, the UK, and beyond.

Here in Sydney, the wait will be worth it when Kylie hits the Qudos Bank Arena for two epic nights, March 1 and 2, 2025. Get your dancing shoes ready because this is going to be the Kylie-palooza our country desperately needs in these dark times. (Yep, you’ll finally get to hear Padam Padam in real life.)

“I am beyond excited to announce the TENSION TOUR 2025,” said the diminutive doyenne. “I can’t wait to share beautiful and wild moments with fans all over the world, celebrating the Tension era and more! It’s been an exhilarating ride so far and now, get ready for your close-up because I will be calling Lights, Camera, Action … and there will be a whole lot of Padaming!”

With her legendary blend of pop, nostalgia, and just the right amount of glitz, news of the Tension Tour is more than just a concert. It’s a celebration of Kylie’s Tension era and beyond, packed full of high-energy anthems and the kind of vibes that make you want to dance all night long.

Telstra members can access exclusive presale tickets from this Tuesday, September 24, so get your accounts in order and set an alarm. Frontier touring members presale starts Thursday, September 26, and then tickets will go on general sale Wednesday, October 2.

To keep your vibe going once you’ve got your tickets, Tension II drops on October 18 and is 13 tracks of pure pop princess goodness. It’s the high-octane, dancefloor companion to her 2023 Tension album—think remixes, new bangers, and even more collaborations. There’s Orville Peck, Bebe Rexha, Tove Lo, Sia, and of course, The Blessed Madonna co-lab Edge of Saturday Night – which they bestowed upon the world last month.

And speaking of new music, the lead single from Tension II, Lights Camera Action, drops on September 27. Pre-save it now because trust us, it’s going to be stuck in your head for the next six months anyway.

Kylie herself has said, “The Tension era has been so special to me … I can’t possibly let it be over just yet! Welcome to ‘Tension II’.”

2024 has already been a whirlwind year for Kylie. She’s added a Brit Global Icon Award and a Grammy for Best Pop Dance Recording to her trophy cabinet, and let’s not forget her epic Las Vegas residency. The critics loved her BST Hyde Park show in London, with The Guardian calling it “a glorious celebration of pop perfection” and Rolling Stone declaring, “This pop queen’s London takeover proves her unchallengeable place atop the throne remains perfectly intact.”

Kylie has always been the queen of reinvention, and this Tension era is no different. With over 500,000 album sales for Tension and nearly half a billion streams, it’s safe to say her Qudos Bank Arena dates will sell out quickly with fans keen to soak up every glittery, feel-good moment.
