Champagne Lallier is coming to Sydney for a special one-night-only dinner at Rockpool

It’s been a while since Sydney splurged on an upscale dinner hosted by a historic Champagne House. Yet we’re only weeks away from a special collaborative event from historic Grand Cru label Champagne Lallier and one of Australia’s most consistent fine dining brands, Rockpool.

With events also happening in Melbourne and Perth on the same date (August 7), Rockpool Sydney will welcome Champagne Lallier for an ‘Evening of Reflexion,’ set in the restaurant’s lavish dining room with a six-course menu specially created by Executive Chef Santiago Arisitzabal.

Three elements will be the focus of the dinner: Champagne (of course), cuisine and ceramics. Each has been carefully considered to seamlessly express the unique characteristics of Champagne Lallier, and especially its latest release, Reflexion R.020.

The new expression of this highly regarded Champagne house will be offered to guests alongside archival vintages, such as the popular Lallier Millesime 2014 and other sips necessary to understand the history and distinction of Champagne Lallier.

Lallier brand ambassador, Claudio Spahiu, will be there to connect with guests and provide deeper insights into the Champagne and its various expressions. All the while Arisitzabal rolls out indulgent dishes like Royal Oscietra Caviar tartlets, wood-fire grilled abalone with bottarga, a decadent Paspaley Pearl meat ceviche, goats cheese tortellini with Moreton Bay bugs, and Wagyu Denver with bone marrow vinaigrette.

The other element, ceramics, will be handled by Catherine Field from Splendid Wren Ceramics, who has created bespoke plates for this dinner. The custom tableware will even remain in service at all three Rockpool restaurants throughout August.
