Archie Rose’s StickyBeak festival is back, and this year itโs taking over The Goods Line North in Ultimo. The festival promises a range of “booze, food and music” as they bring some of Sydney’s hottest restaurants and bars into one space.
As Australia’s most highly awarded distillery, Archie Rose knows how to do booze. They also have a knack for curating the perfect mix of DJs, delicious food and great vibes.
Last year, the festival took place in March and was hosted at the National Art School in Darlinghurst. Some favourites from StickyBeak ’24 will be returning, including the Waratah, Fabbrica and Grape Garden. The list of participating hospitality talent includes:
- Archie Rose
- Attenzione!
- Baptist St Rec Club
- Double Deuce Lounge
- Fabbrica
- Firepop
- Flora
- Flyover Fritterie
- Gelato Messina
- Grifter Brewing Co.
- Grape Garden
- Ho Jiak
- Lankan Filling Station
- Little Cooler (the newest bar from Maybe Sammy Group)
- Kiln
- Maiz Mexican Street Food
- PS40
- P&V Wine + Liquor Merchants
- Shadow Baking
- Takam
- The Waratah
The Good Lines will be a great space to host the festival. It’s conveniently located just a five-minute walk from Central Station and features seating and plenty of greenery. The festival is also dog-friendly, so you’re welcome to bring your pup along with you.
There will be vegetarian and vegan options on offer. Flora, based in Newtown, only serves vegetarian food, and Flyover Fritterie, Redfern’s favourite modern-Indian restaurant, has some delicious vegan and vegetarian options.
Messina will be serving a limited-edition dessert: fresh crรชpes drenched in yuzu marmalade, yuzu caramel and topped with fromage blanc gelato. They’ll be located next to Shadow Baking, who are offering a limited-edition warm pecan pie scroll with Archie Rose whisky caramel and a vanilla double cream for $13.
There will also be an incredible lineup of local artists, too, who have been hand-picked to perform by FBi radio.
The featured artists are:
Friday:
- Mazzacles
- Stephen Ferris
- Heartholder
- Reenie
Saturday:
- Killian
- Jerome Blazรฉ
- Scruffs
- Bria
If that lineup isn’t enough to get you over to Ultimo, then surely Archie Rose’s promise of free guided tastings will convince you.
