History’s most famous tenor is making his grand return to Sydney. The legendary Andrea Bocelli will perform one very special show at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Thursday, April 3, backed by a staggering 70-piece orchestra and a 60-person choir.

The ambitious performance follows Bocelli’s last time in Sydney, which was during a 2022 tour that reportedly left audiences “spellbound.”

And the scale of this show is set to be even larger as Bocelli performs a career-spanning show with a variety of classic masterpieces and some of his more contemporary pieces.

“The opportunity to return to Australia for one exclusive show in Sydney is something I deeply cherish,” said the most successful classic artist of all time.

“These moments are far more than concerts, they are profound experiences where music allows us to connect and celebrate life together. My hope for this upcoming performance is to bring serenity, joy and beauty into the hearts of everyone who attends.”

There aren’t many artists in this world that can tread the distinctive worlds of classical and contemporary music and tie them so beautifully together with the spellbinding power of the human voice. Yet that’s what Bocelli has been doing since he first debuted on the scene in the early 90s, working with Italy’s most prolific musicians across rock, classical and pop.
